GUEST PRESENTERS
Michael Casey began his career as a plumbing, mechanical and general contractor in New England. He then brought this knowledge to the home and commercial inspection profession and has performed over 10,000 home and commercial inspections throughout the nation. Mike is a popular speaker at inspection related conferences and expert regarding inspection related claims matters for both plaintiffs and defendants and insurance companies as well as contractor claims. Home Inspector Standard of Care Expert and Mechanical and Plumbing Issue claims are a specialty for Mr. Casey.
Mike has managed numerous international inspection related conferences, including governmental approvals, hotel negotiation and managed the entire national home and commercial inspection training division while with Kaplan Professional. Mike is an IDECC Certified Distance Education Instructor

Mitch Sudy
Mitch Sudy, ACI, MBA began inspecting in 1997 in California, relocating to Washington State in 2018 he opened and operates ClearPoint Home Inspections, PLLC. He holds a WA State Home Inspection License #2224, a WA State Structural Pest Inspectors License #97204, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a MBA. Mr. Sudy served as Faculty, Director of Operations and then National Director of Operations for Home Inspection, Real Estate and Appraisal for ITA/Kaplan. He later held the positions of Executive Director and Campus President from 2010 to 2018 for Kaplan Colleges and Virginia College. As a Board Member and Certification Exam Chair for the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA) he managed the development of the home inspection industry’s first sychometrically valid/legally defensible certification exam (the CREIA Membership Exam), and later served as a volunteer Subject matter Expert and Exam Item Writer for the National Home Inspection Exam and is a director on the EBPHI board. He is currently an ASHI Certified Home Inspector and has served as an Adjunct Faculty member for Olympic Community College. Mitch can be reached at mitch@clearpointhi.com
